The cat stays
I spoke too soon - the aunt has changed her mind because she doesn't think she'd be home enough to look after the cat properly.Bloody fickle people - make up your frigging minds...although I guess she's doing the right thing instead of taking jess on and then neglecting him.I have to look for another home now.

I'd gladly take Jess off your hands Cat, but I think somehow sending a small kitten from Ireland to Canada would be more trauma and stress on the little fluffball that is absolutely needed.Wish I could take her off your hands though. :(
I wish I could keep him myself but my two don't seem to like him. Although they did risk eating out of his dish today with only one hiss instead of the usually cacophany. Maybe they're adjusting?
They might be. Usually animals eventually adjust to a reasonable and tolerable level with prolonged exposure. Giving them treats when they behave also helps re-inforce the idea the being nice is a bit better than causing a comotion.Besides, when the little ball of fluff grows up, your other cats will be less likely to pick on him/her.Hope you find someone to take him though. :(Hate to see the little guy without a good home.
Do what they do in prison.Lock the three of them in a room and shout "fresh fish!"They'll soon come to some sort of amicable agreement.
That is so shitty.
This has become quite the saga. If it goes on for much longer, you might be able to sell the movie rights for a tidy profit.
Hmmm, my heart's saying "Miramax" but my head says "Odyssey" are the people who'll scoop it up.
The thing is that my two are such mama's cats that they'd be his bitches in no time.
